Roasting in small batches allows us the flexibility to achieve the perfect roast for each of our offerings. This ensures that your order is specially crafted and delivered to you at the peak of freshness, full of flavor for a truly inspiring cup experience. Coffee just tastes better when it’s fresh roasted. Coffee from the store or from massive chain coffee shops may have been roasted weeks or even months ago, much of it practically burned in the roasting process to achieve a uniform “signature” cup profile. All selections from Hanover Roasting Co. are roasted to the individual variety’s “sweet spot” for the most flavorful cup.

Our list of coffees is very select, but always changing. The coffees we offer come from small estate growers. Some are available for a very short time. We always offer the best of what is available to us from the world market. As the seasons change so will the list of offerings. This means that there is almost always something new to be tried, so bookmark this page and check back often. Current Offerings:

Hanover House Blend is a rich flavorful cup composed of beans from several origins that fit together like a sweet aromatic puzzle of chocolate, hazlenut, berries and delightful floral notes. We are proud to offer this tantalizing roast as our flagship blend. This one will be available year-round for your enjoyment.

Hanover Dark is our offering for those that enjoy a darker roast. Similar to our Hanover Blend, but with a deep, smokey quality and a sharp bittersweet finish that lingers on the palate until the next satisfying sip. Darker roasts often mean a thinner cup of coffee, but not here. Hanover Dark was designed as a bold, well balanced coffee.

Sumatra Mandheling is not a growing region, but an ethnic group in Indonesia. This coffee is the product of a unique processing method giving the resulting cup a very unique flavor profile. This roast is low in acid with a medium to bold intensity and an earthy dark chocolate profile. A surprising hint of clove spice emerges as the cup cools.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is now available from Hanover Roasting Co. Coffee legend tells of an Ethiopian goat herder named Kaladi who noticed that his goats would “dance” after eating the fruit from a plant now known as the coffee shrub. Among the first coffees to be harvested, Ethiopian coffee remains one of the best in the world known for it’s bright rich floral cup.

Guatemala Antigua is widely considered one of the most flavorful and nuanced cups in the world. We proudly reflect that sentiment with our offering from the Bella Carmona Estate. This farm is nestled in a valley created by three volcanoes creating a perfect climate and soil combination for producing superior coffee.

Costa Rica produces what is often described as the “classic cup” of coffee. A cup of our fine selection from the Tarrazu region yields an exceptionally balanced cup with a bright rich profile. Strong chocolates and mild citrus notes come together for a perfect cup to start your morning or any other time.

Hanover’s Choice is an option that we offer when it is too tough to choose. For Hanover’s Choice orders we will deliver a pound of our current favorite. You can be certain that great care is taken to select the best beans that we have to offer. It can be tough to select from the best of the best, but that’s what we love about coffee!
